Hahaha...yeah, cross country isn't easy! I just joined this past year and I didn't even want to. I was pretty much forced. My track coaches wanted me to join another sport because all I was in was track. They told me I needed to stay in shape in the off-season and whatever else, but I didn't like any other sports so they got me to join corss country. It was really hard at first because I had never ran over a mile withotu stopping in my life and then I go to practice and they make me run 5 miels straight! Aggghhh...it's crazy. But it's alot of fun too. I'm glad I joined and am going to run CC next year too.

Oh yea....200's do start to suck after awhile. In practice we 'em over and over again. Even in cross country they make us do 200's which seems weird since cross country is long distance. But I remember one day at practice we had to do 15 200's. It was crazy, but of course they weren't as fast as they would have been if we were running them in track.

Track is awesome! Hahaha...I've ran the 400 meter a couple of times, but it isn't my favorite race...not even close. The 400m is probably the hardest race there is and I hate it!!! You have to be able to sprint the whole thing...and with me, that isn't going to happen. I run the 200 meter though...not too short and not too long. My best time is 26.2 and I went to state individually last year, so that was cool. Kind of scary though. So...yeha.
