Hey there. Monticello is kinda far from where I live. I've heard some good things about that town. I used to run for BC (brooklyn center). Hopefully we'll party together some time.

I'm really not sure if I'm good or not yet, haha. Coach wanted me to come out, so I said yeah, as long as I don't have to run a lot...cause I hate running. I threw the Javelin around for a bit with him and he said there is potential to win conference :D

Holy crap, that's a lot. I tried cross-country one year. I went to one practice and decided that it wasn't for me. I was like, "No... none of this." My lungs were assaulted.

I agree. The 400 IS hard. I think I wan the 200m at a meet once or twice, only because the other people couldn't for some reason. We ran a lot of those in practice... they're not bad, but after you do about 8 of them, they start sucking.

I remember running track in high school. I ran the 400 meter dash. Never got a great time or anything -- 58 seconds was the best. Came in third once, though! I was in first the entire time until about the last 100m, and if you ran the 400, you know exactly what I'm talking about. Why is it that the wind always seems to blow when making that curve onto the final 100 meters? :(
